We arrived in the late evening before closing and were the only customers. We were able to get the special which was very delicious. I ordered dessert and it was equally good. The waitress was veryhelpful and attentive. The parking was plenty in front of the restaurant. I would definitely eat here again.

Nice little restaurant along side the river with beautiful views. It seems like half of the restaurant is set up for dining and the other half has the feel of a coffee shop. The restaurant is owned by culvers so the ice cream/custard is great. I ordered the cheeseburger and it was quite filling. They have outdoor seating but it was currently unavailable due to eagles being in the area and the owners dont want them disturbed.

Easy location, outside seating is beautiful and the food is excellent. I really wish other locations would pop up like Culver's. The Middleton restaurant was really good though the location was not a smart spot. Fingers crossed I see more location's soon🙂 …

Got here at 805am. Got seated and my food by 811am. Amazing service, all the employees are happy and sweet and engaged with the customers. Food came out exactly as I asked and for $14 I got huge high quality eggs bacon sourdough toast enough to share with my son, a warm chocolate muffin, coffee and hot cocoa. Highly recommend!

Just plain delicious. Great coffee, tasty breakfast (all day!) and dinner options, wonderful pies. We live in Portage but make a point of eating here when it fits our schedule. Staff and cooks never let us down. Give it a try if you want homemade quality good

My boyfriend and I found this place on route back home from a weekend in Devil's Lake. We chose it because of their great reviews. (Which were an understatement!!) There's a reason why there was a line out the door! It's a beautiful place. We sat outside and enjoyed our meal with a nice river view. Very friendly and quick service. Definitely coming back to try their pancakes! Your only problem will be deciding what to chose from their menu board! So many great choices! I wanted to try them all!

A wonderful restaurant in a quaint town! We had a great breakfast here while dining on the outside patio. It was lovely. The atmosphere was nice and the breakfast sandwich was one of the best I have even had. I have to imagine everything else here is wonderful as well as it seemed as if everything was locally grown or sourced and it seemed like they had a very experienced kitchen staff.

I stumbled upon this gem a year ago and was absolutely impressed. This year, my family made sure we rolled into town in time to order from the breakfast menu again. The custard pancakes with custard on top and the cranberry french toast are the way to go. Unbeatable! The service is excellent and the view looking out over the river is even better. I would not think twice about spending some dollars here.

Wonderful! I have a gluten sensitivity, so the bread that you see pictured is actually gluten-free bread! I ordered the Outrageous BLT with a side of Apple Baked Beans. Great flavor, very relaxed atmosphere, and beautiful views!
